IGF-1 LR3 (Long Arg3 Insulin-like Growth Factor 1) is a modified version of the naturally occurring IGF-1 hormone, engineered for greater stability and extended half-life. It promotes cellular growth, repair, and regeneration by activating IGF-1 receptors in muscle, nerve, and bone tissue. The “LR3” form has a longer half-life (~20-30 hours) and reduced binding to IGF-binding proteins (IGFBPs), making it significantly more bioavailable and potent than native IGF-1.
IGF-1 LR3 is often used in performance enhancement, post-cycle therapy, and recovery protocols, and has emerging roles in anti-aging and tissue regeneration.
